Ed Kardauskas, CPP, PSP, PCI, CHSIII, CASManaging DirectorOverviewEd Kardauskas has served as trusted advisor to major corporations, schools, and government for over 30 years. Before assuming the leadership role at Excaliber Security Services LLC he served as a senior consultant at one of the nation’s largest security consulting firms, where he managed enterprise level security consulting, system design and construction projects at major corporate and critical infrastructure sites throughout North America. Prior to that position he served as a captain and acting chief in a 200 officer metropolitan law enforcement agency, and in several senior regional and corporate security management roles in a large publicly traded national corporation. The ASIS certification program is the first and only program of its kind to be awarded a coveted Designation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technology (SAFETY) Act of 2002. The program is also Accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the U.S. member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Mr. Kardauskas is also certified in homeland security by the American College of Forensic Examiners (CHSIII), and as an anti-terrorism specialist by the Anti Terrorism Accreditation Board (CAS). Practice AreasMr. Kardauskas has deep experience with integrating risk analysis based security programs into an organization's business strategy for measurable returns on investment. He has worked extensively in threat, risk and vulnerability assessments, physical security strategy and security system design, workplace violence prevention and response, criminal and non criminal investigations, critical incident management, business continuity planning, security officer program management, and coordination of private security operations with the services of public sector emergency response agencies. LicensingMr. Kardauskas is licensed as a security consultant in the state of Texas (License #DD01753), and is authorized to work unescorted in Maritime Transportation Security Act controlled port facilities under the Transportation Security Administration's Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) Program.
